Essaouira Day Trip (The Atlantic Coast)
Essaouira Tour: for the person who wants to explore on their own near the seaside
Departure at 7h00 from Marrakech, driving to Essaouira. Visit the port and the ramparts of Essaouira, the old Medina. Whilst visiting the port you can eat fresh fish in a local Essaouira restaurant: you select your fish and they cook it. The ambiance of this old city is quaint. You will walk on your own in the ancient Portuguese streets of the Old Medina of Essaouira also known as Mogador. Shopping is abundant for those who so choose, but even if shopping isn’t what you desire, the views and ambience are beautiful! You will also have the chance to see the famous Moroccan Argan trees as well as sample (and purchase) some Argan products. Return to Marrakesh in the evening.
Ouzoud Day Trip (In the Middle Atlas Mountains)
Ouzoud Tour: for the person who wants to hike and be outdoors. Hiking for all levels of proficiency is available, as you choose that day. Appropriate hiking shoes required.
Departure at 7h00 from Marrakech heading to the City of Demnate and its fields of olive trees. After driving towards a natural bridge Imi Nifrid, we’ll stop for mint tea and enjoy the view. This road is unique because of its green valleys and amazing scenes. We will also visit a traditional water mill. We will have a Berber lunch near the waterfalls (tajine, salad, and other Moroccan dishes). Return to Marrakesh in the evening
High Atlas Mountains Day Trip (In central Morocco)
High Atlas Mountains Tour Description: for the person who doesn’t mind a scenic drive in the mountains. Also some walking at Ait Benhadou and the movie studio.
Departure at 8h00 from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m). You will discover a remarkable region characterized by the beauty of its landscapes dominated by Berber villages and farms. Before reaching Ouarzazate you will visit the UNESCO site of Ait Benhadou, an ancient berber kasbah. Then the tour continues to Ouarzazate where you will visit the Atlas Movie Studios, the largest studios in Africa*, and the Taourirt Kasbah. In the evening, we drive back to Marrakech.
